The Coathangers have premiered the new video for “Go Away.” Shot and edited by director Jason Travis, the video for “Go Away” is not only a look into the dynamics the girls share as band mates and friends (even while on tour), but also a glimpse into how hard they work to keep it all going.

The third video from 2011’s Larceny & Old Lace features the presence of a ghostly Julia Kugel singing over the looping, shifting, and reversing imagery which speaks to the often plaintive temporal nature of life, relationships, and tolerance for complacency. Shooting took place over a period of a week as Travis accompanied the band on tour from Atlanta to New York as they mangled stages in major cities along the way. They even stopped by a rural farm to pet horses, shoot guns, and catch a unique perspective of life.
As previously announced, the Coathangers are set to release a limited edition single (500 black, 250 gold) that will be available worldwide on April 17 via Suicide Squeeze. The single features the Coathangers’ “Smother” as the A-side and Davila 666’s “No Crees Que Ya Cansa” as the AA-side, along with artwork from Westin Glass of the Thermals.
