Spiritually and symbolically, This Will Destroy You’s latest music video (see Creators Project) for the song “New Topia” encourages viewers to dream about what lies behind the door to the afterlife. Completion of the video lasted six months, and according to director and animator Lilfuchs, the focus of the story is to make sure the seven sacrament symbols are correctly linked in order throughout the video, towards the door to the afterlife. While heavily placing importance on how spiritual order can be demanding and fragile, the video is simultaneously welcoming towards letting viewers’ imaginations run wild. New Topia seeks to bring an inspiring sense of hope deemed collectively by mankind as long forgotten.

This Will Destroy You have also announced a North American tour with Cymbals Eat Guitars. The band will play a run of dates along the west coast, as well as additional dates in Austin, Dallas and NYC this winter. The full itinerary can be found below.
