Blackwater Holylight are a brooding, visceral presence in the Southern California rock scene. In January, the trio released the full-length Not Here Not Gone. Today, they share a cinematic video for album cut “Spades.” It follows a card game and heist gone off the rails, complimented by the track’s sludgy intensity. Between November and January, Blackwater Holylight will tour the West Coast in support of alternative metal legends Neurosis.

On the track, vocalist and guitarist Sunny Faris shares:“‘This video was all for fun! We wanted to make a silly video with our friends and family to finish the year off with a project that felt freeing and creative for everyone. We hope you enjoy ‘Spades’ – a journey through an underground poker heist gone wrong!”
